My experience of sitting on the diet made it difficult for me to consciously resort to this self-torture. If not for a "but": I personally have seen the results of two weeks of doing the "Japanese style" diet. Just like in magazines: "before" and "after". Principles in matters of beauty and health, however, are perhaps the best.

Emotional diversion
I must say that I admire the courage of those who are able to perceive the weight loss formula found on the internet and immediately try it for themselves. I am also wary of diets. Life has brought me to them twice.
The first time - in severe form, while in the mountains, I had some stomach infection, and for three weeks at an altitude of 3000 meters I simply could not eat: everything immediately demanded a returnagain. The second time was when I decided to limit my servings to 1000 calories per day. For almost a month, my diet consisted of morning coffee with cream, a snack for lunch, and frozen vegetables for dinner. I learned that the diet should be balanced later on.
So the first question I ask is: How balanced is the Japanese diet? "More or less, but without enough amino acids, " replied a biochemist friend, "you'd be disgusted - horror with a gun". His hypothesized fear of wickedness did not materialize. For the first two days, the body was overwhelmed by the sudden disappearance of normal food from his life. And realizing that this was long but not forever, he became quiet and indifferent.
Charming and disappointing
As it happened over the course of each experiment with myself, I had accumulated a list of things that captivated and disappointed me. Or rather, the inconvenience and pleasure of dieting.
Inconvenience number 1
Strict diet. Because, according to its authors, it is designed to alter metabolism. Therefore, the slightest deviation from the course (even a crouton, even an apple) - and the expected effect will not be guaranteed. And here's what to expect: break up with 5-8 kg and stabilize the weight for the time being.
Inconvenience #2
It's so hard to come to an office lunch and flirt with me two boiled eggs and 200 grams of grated carrots. Usually such requests remain unfulfilled. Therefore, you will have to carry all the backups in the wallet. And, most likely, prepare the diet meals the day before.
Comfort number 1
13 days following the Japanese diet will cost you about 2 times less than your daily office lunch or lunch at work. And even more - buy food for the family.
Pleasant number 2
In general, it's better not to start a strict diet if at least half of the foods it contains are offensive to you. And since I ate so enthusiastically in "normal life" and fish, and boiled beef, carrots, kefir, and cabbage, I honestly felt happy.
Many people ask the question drinking coffee every morning - is drinking coffee harmful? If you have heart problems or high blood pressure, coffee can have side effects. And before starting the Japanese diet, you should consult your doctor.
A variety of feelings
During the first two days of the diet, an image haunted me: as soon as I closed my eyes, a thin baked pancake appeared before my eyes, automatically coiled into a tube. Then someone kindly dipped it in strawberry jam and brought it to my face. There are no olfactory hallucinations. After chasing me for two days, the cake fell.
A nonchalant and calm attitude towards the culinary delights set in here, has persisted to this day. This is not to say that I would grudgingly decline if offered to try the delicacy. But the nervous tremors from the fact that "there was too much food there" were no longer observed.
I did not lose much - only 4 kg, but the weight did not return. I don't know who to thank for this: the developers of the Japanese diet or myself - for doing sports twice a week. The only detail: during the diet you become noticeably weaker, and in the end it becomes problematic to open an unopened bottle of mineral water. But then strength was quickly restored.
